2021 LiftKits4Less.com 200 odds: NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Darlington chooses proven model
Darlington Raceway had not hosted a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race since 2011 before a return last season due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the iconic 71-year-old egg-shaped oval is back on the program for the series of trucks. The green flag will drop at 7:30 p.m. ET on the LiftKits4Less.com 200 2021 Friday night. Regular truck drivers will likely be relieved that Kyle Busch skips Friday’s race. Busch has not finished worse than second in four truck starts this year and claimed his second truck series victory in Kansas a week ago.
Without Busch on the court, points leader John Hunter Nemechek is the 2-1 favorite in William Hill Sportsbook’s 2021 LiftKits4Less.com 200 odds. Others near the top of the NASCAR truck series at Darlington include Austin Hill (4-1), Sheldon Creed (6-1) and Zane Smith (7-1). Developed by Mike McClure, Daily Fantasy Pro and SportsLine Predictive Data Engineer, this exclusive NASCAR prediction computer model simulates each race 10,000 times, taking into account factors such as track history and recent results.
The model started the 2020 season paying big by picking Denny Hamlin to win his second consecutive Daytona 500 at 10-1. The model also announced Kevin Harvick’s victory in Atlanta and took home a whopping nine among the top 10s in that race. McClure then used the model to lock in a 10-1 bet on Hamlin for his victory in Miami.
At the Brickyard, the model called Harvick’s fourth win of the season. Then, in the 2020 NASCAR playoffs, the model nailed her picks in back-to-back races, calling Denny Hamlin to win 17-2 at Talladega and Chase Elliott to win 7-2 at Charlotte Roval. Then earlier this season, he called Kyle Busch’s Truck Series victory in Atlanta and his Truck Series victory last week in Kansas. Anyone who has followed him has seen huge returns.
Now his model has simulated the 2021 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series 10,000 times in Darlington. Head over to SportsLine to see the full projected rankings for the 2021 LiftKits4Less.com 200.

A surprise: The model is high on Corey Heim, even though he’s a huge 25-1 hit in the latest NASCAR truck series at Darlington odds. It’s a target for anyone looking for a huge paycheck. The 18-year-old is still a student at Kennesaw Mountain High School, but he will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in truck # 51 owned by Kyle Busch Motorsports on Friday night.
Heim has two wins in four starts in the 2021 ARCA Menards Series. He found his way to victory in Daytona and Talladega and was also second in Phoenix and third last week in Kansas. We know the equipment is top notch with Busch driving the No.51 in his truck’s four starts this season, so Heim will have a chance to make a huge start on Friday at Darlington.
And a huge shock: Sheldon Creed, one of the Vegas favorites at 6-1, stumbles a lot and barely finishes in the top five. There are much better values in this loaded field. The reigning NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion opened his season with three top-six finishes in his first four starts, but things haven’t gone exactly as planned since.
Creed has finished outside the top 10 in each of his last three truck starts and he’s just finished a disappointing 32nd place despite 41 laps in the lead in Kansas last week. The 23-year-old also finished 18th last season in the truck race at Darlington after taking second place and leading 82 laps.
How to Predict the 2021 NASCAR Truck Series at Darlington
