Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones could have a pretty huge salary after the Chiefs’ next game against the Denver Broncos.
Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones has a pretty good chance of making a ton of money if he has a strong performance with the Denver Broncos this week.
According to a item by Michael Rothstein of ESPN, all Jones needs to get is one more bag to get a nice incentive. How much money could Jones get? According to Rothstein, Jones could be paid $ 1.25 million if he gets fired against Denver.
It’s a pretty solid amount of money. That’s more than what Antonio Brown lost in the controversial debacle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend.
Kansas City Chiefs: Chris Jones could get a ton of money after Denver Broncos game
All Jones needs to do against the Broncos is have a pretty good game. It is not unreasonable to ask him. But, he hasn’t really been super productive on that front for most of this season. Jones’ contract incentive requires him to hit 10 sacks this year. So far, Jones has nine sacks in 13 games this season.
However, his impressive performance against the Cincinnati Bengals makes that possible. He got two sacks last week, which puts him in a position to be able to reach his goal against Denver this week.
The Broncos’ offensive line hasn’t been great in protecting quarterbacks this season. Broncos quarterbacks Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock have been sacked a total of 39 times this season.
