LMCU Celebrates 10th Year of Home Makeover Sweepstakes with Giveaway

Lake Michigan Credit Union has announced the launch of its 10th annual home improvement contest, with a grand prize of $50,000.

The draw will run from now until Friday July 8th. Last year’s competition generated a record 1,093,779 entries, the first year to cross the million mark. The grand prize was won by Jamal from Grand Rapids.

There are many ways to use $50,000 to improve your home. Maybe you’ve envisioned an updated kitchen or a fancy bathroom, or your roof needs fixing. Or maybe it’s the perfect time to add an addition, like a home office or an extra bedroom. By registering online at LMCU.org or at any branch, participants are eligible to win the grand prize for making their dreams come true. Entrants can also enter most LMCU ATMs once during the contest. Much like LMCU membership, the $50,000 Home Makeover contest is open to anyone in Michigan and Florida.

“It’s so wonderful to celebrate the 10th year of our Home Makeover Sweepstakes,” said Sandy Jelinski, President and CEO of LMCU. “Looking back on each winner, it’s amazing what the award meant to them and the dreams they always had for their home. One of the things I’m most proud of with the work we do at LMCU is that even if you don’t win the coin toss, we also have what you need to make your dreams come true – that it’s an affordable home improvement, a new car or simply saving money by consolidating debt. We put our members first, and that’s why our members love banking here.
